Today's Inspiration

Broadway.com did some necessary gumshoeing on the theater careers of the Mad Men cast (aka the intersection of my passions.) You must click though because you owe it to American theater, it has done so much for you and asks so little in return. This is the line that sent a jolt through me:

Hamm as Cliff in Cabaret

Cabaret is the greatest American musical (you can read what Julie Klausner and I say about it here); filled with decadence and a signature apocalyptic trim. Cliff’s character is one of the most challenging male leads in the pantheon of musical theater (Quiet, Chekov. We’re not talking about you right now). It’s the whole range of innocence to experience in 2 hours.  Here’s  my favorite clip.
